Vegetal Peeling Exfoliating Enzyme Mask

Vegetal Peeling has the texture of a scrub, and the exfoliation comes from enzymes rather than friction.
Papain from papaya and the enzymes in pineapple are proteolytic, which means they break down protein. Dead skin cells are held to your surface by protein bonds, and the enzymes break those bonds while the mask sits on your face. The loosening is finished before you touch it.
Then you sweep the dried mask off with your fingertips. It rolls up into little pieces, and the loosened cells and the buildup are caught inside them, so all of it comes off your face together. A mask that works this way is called a gommage, and it's the exfoliation done in the treatment room.
Pumice milled to a fine powder smooths the surface while the enzymes work. Spirulina and chlorophyll clarify. Wheat germ conditions, and elderflower, arnica and cucumber keep it calm.
With regular use your skin feels smoother and looks brighter, and it isn't left red or sore.
How to Use+
Apply a thin layer to clean skin on your face and neck, keeping it off your eye area. Let it dry for 1 to 2 minutes. Support your skin with one hand and sweep the mask off in upward motions with your fingertips. Rinse any residue with lukewarm water and follow with your moisturizer. Use it once or twice a week.
For sensitive skin: don't sweep the mask off. Rinse it away with lukewarm water.
