A Legacy Born from Passion
In 1944, in her native Romania, Christine Valmy began creating skin care products with ingredients from her garden. In the 1960s, she moved to the United States and pioneered the country's esthetics industry through education and product innovation, earning recognition from around the globe.
Today, Marina leads the organization, mentoring students at Christine Valmy International School and perfecting formulas in the Christine Valmy lab. The result is a product line forever true to its founder's original vision of natural, effective skin care.
A 60-Year Journey
From a garden in Romania to the world's largest esthetics school, six decades of natural skin care and beauty education.
Christine Valmy begins developing natural skin care remedies in Romania, and later establishes the first esthetics school in the United States.
Recognized by the U.S. Congress for her contribution to education and careers in America, Christine Valmy leads CIDESCO's first U.S. Congress, expands to New Jersey, and launches a cruelty-free product laboratory.
The brand goes international with schools abroad and products in Japan. By 1990 the Pine Brook, New Jersey school is incorporated, and Christine Valmy is honored for opening the first licensed skin care school in the United States.
Christine Valmy champions esthetics licensing in New York, influencing other states nationwide. Globally, products expand into Singapore and Korea.
The New York school relocates to Fifth Avenue, while product distribution extends into Taiwan, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Christine Valmy International School moves to Times Square, opening the world's largest esthetics school with sustainable design features.
